Learn from the past
create in the present
Our program isn’t just a timetable. All classes are different dialects of the same language — movement. Each one carries a history.
HIP HOP
Born in the Bronx and rooted in culture, hip hop is all about rhythm, groove, and self-expression. Explore foundation, technique, groove, and freestyle, while connecting in the cypher.
HOUSE
House was born in the clubs of Chicago and New York. It is an energetic and fluid dance style that combines intricate footwork, torso movements, and the freedom of improvisation.
BREAKING
The first recognized dance style of hip hop culture, often falsely referred to as breakdance. It is characterized by dynamic floor moves, acrobatics, freezes, and rhythmical steps.
EXPERIMENTAL
Approach beyond traditional styles. This method merges hip hop, contemporary dance, and improvisation. We use movement as a tool for exploring the body, the mind, and presence.
ABILITY
Approaching the body as a whole, blending creative tasks, somatic practices, and physical training to build coordination, strength, and awareness. Designing your own movement paths.

who? what? when? why?
find your answers.
Curiosity is welcome. That’s why we’ve answered some of the questions we hear most often. Still unsure? Reach out and let’s talk.
Intermediate and Advanced (closed groups) are for the most ambitious dancers that need to pass the auditions. All other groups are open to everyone at any age or skill level. The sessions are a bit special though—they are meant for exchanging, hanging out and meeting new people.
Nace and Gašper teach in Slovenian language, but can switch to English, if there are foreign students present. Just let them know, if you don’t speak Slovenian! Alex, though, always teaches in the English language.
Before visiting our classes you need to fill out the online enrollment form, that is more of an informational nature. For official sign up into Kuga Studio, you will need to fill and sign an official registration form upon arrival. For children under the age of 18, this needs to be filled out by a parent or a legal guardian.
You don’t need special equipment, but it is required to use clean training shoes or dance barefoot or in socks. We recommend you always bring a bottle of water and a little towel for the sweat! Also bring a notebook, so you can write down the invaluable knowledge you’ll definitely receive in every class. Don’t be late, always arrive at least 5 minutes early.
Yes, if the classes are fully booked. Our groups are usually filled by 16 to 24 students, 30 max. This is why it is so important to fill out the enrollment form, so we can let you know, if you are waitlisted or not. We will always contact you through email.
We don’t do free visits. But you are always welcome to visit us and pay for single class only.
